What Happens Next?

You are invited to join us anytime after 6:05pm.  If you arrive during worship (usually before 7:00pm) our Session Director will greet you privately and ask you to join us in worship.   The Director will give you the information listed below. 

We believe that worshiping God first and then having your faith built up by an encouraing message next will help you to receive the healing that God wants you to have and so we encourage you to join us for the entire evening, usually until 8:30pm.  If your schedule doesn't allow you to stay that long, we will accomodate you as quickly as possible.

1. You are spoken of as a "Seeker", one who is about to be healed!

2. You will be asked to fill out the form or forms that let us know who you are and why you're here. The Session Director will give your information to the Healing Team, and while they prayerfully consider your information, please read this document and the following material:

"Our Statement of Faith"
"The Seven Essentials of Establishing a Healing Ministry"
"The Healing Word"

3. After reading the material, ask yourself:

• Do you wish to be healed?
• Am I clear for what I wish to be healed?
• Have I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior?
• Have I asked forgiveness for my sins?
• Have I repented for my sins?
• If someone else came with me, do I want them to go with me into the Healing Room? (As a general rule, we prefer that you allow us to minister to you by yourself.) Most frequently we prefer you come alone!
• Do I have questions? Ask the receptionist.

4. Someone from the team will come and introduce him or herself to you, and accompany you into the healing room.

5. You will be introduced to the members of the healing team.

6. You are welcome to sit or stand; water, Kleenex, and a Bible are available.

7. Before healing begins, the team may wish to discuss with you the information you provided as answers on your forms. There may be issues suggested to them by the Holy Spirit.

8. During the healing time, the Holy Spirit heals you!

Know this:
• With your team, you are in His Presence.
• His Word tells us you are healed by His Stripes.
• Your healing may be manifested instantaneously or delayed
• At the appropriate time if you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, and you desire Him to be, they will lead you in prayer to receive Him as your Lord and Master.

9. When you are being healed, the following may occur:

• If localized pain is the problem, you may be asked to place your hand over the area.
• The team prays while they lay hands on you, making sure you are comfortable.
• They may lay their hands on your hands.
• They may anoint you with oil.
• One of the team members constantly watches you.
• The Holy Spirit leads what they say and do.
• The team recognizes you are here for healing.
• The healing prayers may be led at anytime by any one of the team.

10. You are encouraged to say what you feel and to respond as you sense you should.

• You may be asked to affirm your healing by speaking out loud.
• You may be asked to repeat the words of a team member. It is your choice to do so.

11. The session is closed in prayer and thanksgiving for your healing. The material in the Exit Package, which is given to you, is reviewed.

• "How to keep your healing"
• "Divine Health Confession"
• "31 Daily Confessions"
• "Witness of Healing Form; Please complete and return.

12. You are escorted back to the Reception Room.

13. We encourage you to:

• continue to use the Exit Package, praising God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for your healing.
• to return for further prayer in any future sessions.

14. A specific return date is established if you desire.
