The Seven Essentials of Establishing a Healing Ministry
(Why and How We Minister)
We believe with all of our heart, mind and soul and strength (have unshakable faith) that the resurrection power, the healing anointing of Jesus Christ is present and effective in our lives and churches today. "(Jesus) is the same yesterday, today, and forever." His promises of healing and restoration are for all of us.
We are desperate for more of Him and less of us, for more anointing, for more love and for more of the power of the Lord in our lives to enable us to heal the sick, deliver the captives, cause the lame to walk, the deaf to hear, and the blind to see.
We are submitted and committed to the Lord as well as obedient and faithful to do what He tells us to do and to say what He tells us to say when He tells us.
We walk in humility; pride comes easily with a great anointing. We are careful not to fall into its trap. (I Peter 5:5 "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.)
We continually increase our prayer life. We are worshippers in spirit and truth. We pray in the spirit and with understanding. We are tuned in to the voice of God for other's sakes. He guides us when we minister to others.
We are not prejudiced. The works we do in the healing rooms are inclusive. Healing is for everyone, everywhere, in every church, for all denominations. We are all His children.
This is a ministry of love. I Corinthians 16:14 "Let all that you do be done with love." Without love we are all sounding brass and tinkling cymbals. "God is love."
